When One Door Closes...........

Well the 2014 draft ended in great disappointment as Devin did not get drafted.  We waited for his name to be called, and though 22 goalies were drafted, Devin was not one of them.  Once again, though he had a breakout season this year, the guy got overlooked, which seems to be the course for his career up to this point.  But when one door closes, another one opens and two days after the draft, several phone calls came in from nhl teams.  The Nashville Predators invited Devin to their prospect camp, telling him he was the first one on their list.  The Red Wings were also apparently interested; however, Devin committed to the Predators, who called him first and he is so very excited to be going.  He leaves tomorrow from Detroit and will be in Nashville for a week.  He has been working hard on and off the ice, getting ready for the new season, which will see him as the starting goaltender.
